Terms of Service
Plain terms for a site with no accounts and no payments. Using NovaTools means accepting them; if you do not, please do not use the site.
1. Who these terms are with
“NovaTools”, “we” and “the site” mean this
website and the person operating it, identified in nt-config.js and
on the contact page. “You” means anyone
using it. There is no registration step, so these terms take effect when you use
the site.
2. What you may do
You may use every tool on this site, for anything, including commercial work, at no cost and without attribution. You may bookmark tools, link to them, and recommend them. Output you create with a tool is yours; we claim no rights in anything you make.
Because the tools run on your own machine, we neither see nor retain what you put through them. That is described in the Privacy Policy.
3. What you may not do
- Use the site to break the law, infringe someone's rights, or process content you have no right to process.
- Attempt to disrupt the site or the hosting behind it, including automated requests at a volume that degrades it for others.
- Copy the site wholesale and present it as your own product. The source is open under the MIT licence; that licence, not this clause, sets out what reuse is permitted.
- Remove, obscure or artificially interact with advertising. Clicking your own or others' ads to generate revenue is fraud against the ad network and will get the site's account terminated.
4. The tools are provided as they are
Every tool here is offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. They are written carefully and tested, and they will still occasionally be wrong: a platform changes an image size without announcing it, a rounding rule differs from the one you expected, a browser behaves differently from the rest.
Check anything that matters before you rely on it. This is stated at more length on the Disclaimer page, which forms part of these terms.
5. Availability
The site is provided on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because of a hosting failure, or because it has been withdrawn. No uptime is promised, and no notice of a change or a withdrawal is guaranteed. Since the tools run in your browser, a page you already have open generally keeps working regardless.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost profit, lost data or business interruption — whether or not we were advised such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use the site, which is nothing.
7. Advertising and third-party content
The site may display advertising supplied by third parties. We do not choose, review or endorse individual ads, and an ad appearing here is not a recommendation. Any dealing between you and an advertiser is between you and them. The same applies to any link out to another website.
8. Intellectual property
The name NovaTools, the wordmark and the written content on these pages belong to the operator. The source code is published under the MIT licence included with the project, which permits reuse on the terms it sets out. Platform names such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe what a tool is for; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of them.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The current version is always the one on this page and the date below shows when it last changed. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made silently.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction named in nt-config.js, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
11. Severability
If any provision here is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force and the unenforceable provision is treated as modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
Last updated 2026-08-06. These terms describe a free site with no accounts, no payments and no user-generated content. If any of that changes, so must this page.
