Platform sizes and character limits change
A large part of this catalogue encodes facts that belong to somebody else: that a YouTube thumbnail is 1280 × 720, that an Instagram caption caps at 2,200 characters, that a Pinterest pin works best at 1000 × 1500. Those are correct as recorded, and platforms change them without announcement.
If a size or a limit is load-bearing for you — you are printing something, or you cannot re-upload — confirm it against the platform's own current help page first. Where a tool's answer disagrees with a platform's documentation, the platform is right and we would be grateful to hear about it.
Calculators are arithmetic, not advice
The engagement, reach, cost-per-click, rate-card and monetisation calculators apply a stated formula to numbers you supply. They tell you what the formula returns. They do not know your niche, your contract, your audience or your market, and they are not financial, business, legal, tax or professional advice of any kind.
A sponsorship rate suggested by a rate-card calculator is a starting point for a negotiation, not a valuation. Decisions with money attached should involve someone qualified to advise on them.
Conversions and rounding
Unit conversions use standard factors and round the result for display. Rounding is not free: repeated conversion, or conversion of a figure that was itself rounded, drifts. For engineering, dosage, legal or financial work, use a tool built and certified for that domain.
Image and file tools
Image tools re-encode using your browser's own canvas and encoder. Different browsers produce slightly different output at the same quality setting, and re-encoding is lossy — every save loses a little more. Always keep your original. Cropping to a platform size discards whatever falls outside the frame, which is the intended behaviour and is not reversible.
Security and privacy tools
The password generator uses your browser's cryptographic random source and the hash tools use its Web Crypto implementation, which are the right primitives. That does not make the surrounding environment safe: a compromised device, a malicious extension or a shoulder-surfer defeats any of it. Do not generate production credentials on a machine you do not control.
The JWT decoder decodes; it does not verify a signature. A token that displays cleanly here has not been validated in any sense.
